im going to sort them out 2moz as they making a right noise even when car is warm what is the gap i should adust them to as can not find it around on fourm cheers

i think u got same car as me. mine are hydrolic so u cant adjust em aparently.

mine were noisy but with oil change it soon settled.

when i got my car serviced i asked bout it and they said with clios the cam belt housing rattles making a tap noise and something elses moves i think they said alternator rocking or sumit lol.

i dunno. maybe this wont help lol.

had a look and myn are adustable so it says in the book any way and i give it a full oil change see if this would helo and nope and mine are quite bad hear it all the time is on all the way thought revs etc thanks for help tho :approve:

woooo! just finally shut my tappets up after 4 months

it took me 4 hours is that good our bad it is my first job which i ever dun on a car engine part from induction kit so is 4 hours gd only probelm now is sumtimes on idie its dropping to 500 rpm and sounds liek bout cut out bit give it a littel rev its fine again but im jsut glad there finally dun as were had car from took them 3 times and they still aint dun um and one of the like so far out could not belive it
