Stud Conversion

First off, unsure if this is the right place for this but ill continue non-the-less.

I made a rep from my 1.2 and have the 172 ph2 alloys but the front wheels are hiding in the arches big time, im looking 30mm spacers to help this but am now wondering would it just be safer to convert them to a stud and nut rather than a bolt to be safer?

Its only for road use, covering around 70miles a day.

Any advice would be great!

ive got FK 30mm bolt to hub spacers for the twingo but the wheel bolts need modified to chop them down as they go through the wheel, spacer then touch the hub before tight
