Hey guys I mentioned this in my new guy intro thread but thought I'd put a post in here too.
I'm going to build a clio in the stockhatch class. Basic rules are I can put any 1.6 8v Renault engine in a clio shell as long as the mounts don't have to be altered too much (minor alterations to the mounts are permitted).
So my plan is to build a 1.6 clio using the k7m engine. I know that this engine was fitted to a clio aa standard but I have had trouble finding one at a decent price and noticed that there are far more 1.2 clios out there at sensible money for a donor car.
Will a k7m fit into a 1.2 clio or are the mounts totally different?
