Should i buy it?

No service history stated, if you did buy it, get a major service asap! You'd be looking at around £350 from a Renault specialist for that.

Yer i will find out tommorow about the service history, tax and MOT status.

I get my current Clio major serviced for £150 at my local garage.

I was quite impressed by it only having 1 owner!

I suppose not, my current clio only had one owner and full service history. Hopefully will be the same for that car, but will ask tommorow.

One lady owner means f**k all, I went to look at a car that had one lady owner. It had been smoked in, never cleaned, never serviced, noises that shouldn't have been there. And it was only 3/4 years old with 30k on it.

You get two types of lady owners.....ones which don't give a f**k and run it til it dies, or ones which take it to the dealers for every minor problem/service as they s**t themselves something will go wrong.

not the nicest spec, i think you could find better for the money e.g dynamique

+1, also is there any point in upgrading from yout PH1 to a PH2 if you know your PH1 is a good runner as the newer one could turn out to be a dog. Save for a 172 imo :approve:

I've just taken a disliking to my ph1, directline wont let me do anything to it either :dapprove: so it looks boring and standard.

I just prefer the look of the ph2 alot more. Im only 18 so i need something cheap to insure aswell

^^ you wont be able to insure the one in the link then as it has alloys, which would mean its been modified, which would mean direct line wouldnt insure you

as i said try and get a dynamique if you want alloys etc

You sir, are ill.

I get the impression you have money in pocket and want to spend it.
Money down the drain imo, for the reasons already stated.

In a way yes, i want to upgrade. I know its not a major upgrade, but ive had my ph1 for a while now and just want something newer and more modern looking.

The wheels in the pics are alloys. Did you go see it? Have they taken them off?

I will go today, a bit later on to look at both the clios.
I was just going off the pictures, they didnt look like alloys to me and i thought he would have mentioned it in the info if they were, my mistake .

Slap a pair of Renault alloys on your PH1 matey if your worried about insurance, i never declared my alloys etc to my insurance and they were aftermarket.

Just dont bin the car and all should be well. The PH2 will be a waste of effort/money. Granted they look a bit more modern but not enough to grant the change. Save your money matey and do a few bits like colour code etc ;)

Gonna save for a newer Dynamique with less miles  Hopefully in black!

Admiral, Bell and Elephant have always been cheap with me. I was 19, no NCB and had a 1.2 16v and it cost me £600 for a year, then £400 then £256. Me as policy holder, mum and dad for the first year, then just mum for second and third. I now have my mum and auntie on my policy to bring it down. My excess has never been more than about £450, and I don't even have a particularly good postcode.
