Number Plate Advice??

I want to get some new plates for my car.

Which ones do you think will be best:

- 3/4 front and standard rear

or

- them french number plates (the metal ones that stand out)?

Oh and, dont know whether this will make any difference, but my Clio is a 2003 1.2 16v

Standard length but not as tall (as to fit the recess) for the front.

3/4 height, im geting one made up tomorrow hopefully

So if I get one 3/4 height, will it not leave a gap on my bump strip where the plate should cover? Is there anything underneath there that i shouldnt really want to show lol

And could I possibly see pics of a 1.2 with a 3/4 plate pleaseee, thanking you!
