New to Cliosport - R27 Q's

  Clio 197 R27
Hi there,

I've had my R27 for about 6 months now and I love it!
However I have a couple of questions.
I really miss having my iPod. I've looked into the 'tunepoint' but I don't want to pay a fortune and I'm not even sure if its the best solution. I'd be interested to hear how others have got round this.

Another issue is the rubber seals between the doors and the windows have started to perish. I've learnt that this seems to be a common problem with the 197 but it's started to lead to a build up of condensation in the car when it's damp so I need to replace them. Anyone know where is the best place to buy them and tips on how to fit them?

Would appreciate any help

Cheers

cheers for the heads up. i based the theory of the condensation and seals on other posts but they still need replacing anyway.

thanks for the feedback

welcome along.

Provided that you have an update list headunit (it should say update list on the bottom right of the unit) you can get an aux cable for under a tenner like so http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Renault-C...arts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3ccaa33220

This plugs into the back of your headunit and then the other end cable plugs into your headphone socket on the ipod. You won't beable to control the iPod via the headunit but if you set up a specific playlist or your passenger can skip tracks for you, your onto a winner.

i will have a look to see what head unit ive got but one of the two options posted should solve the problem either way so cheers guys.

i dont mind replacing the seals myself but does anyone know a link for where i can buy them? i cant seem to find them anywhere. Ive seen other posts on the forum as to what adhesive to use, just not where to find the seals....
