my new 182 not running right, think I know why?

  2004 clio 182
Purchased my new 182 a few nights ago and there's a funny spot between 2-3 k rpms where it "bogs down" and doesn't sound quite right.

This also happens higher up the revs to a lesser degree but none the less still noticeable at wide open throttle/the hesitation is still there.
The situation I have found is worse on a colder night which makes me believe the cars running lean. I have measured throttle body on my 2004 clio 182 and it's 64mm which I thinks oversized and causing my issue ?

Can any body help me out with this ,is the body correct or is this my issue?

Think this maybe something to do with it.

So I bought all these parts ( coil pack, leads and new plugs)

And the problem is still here.running crappy on anything other than quarter throttle.hesitates and bogs

I have now ordered up 4 new injectors from renparts and I hope that sorts things ?

Lambda issue is because it's decayed so I have been told.is this true ?

I had the same problem replace the front lambda, and should sort this, I replaced plugs leads coil pack and injectors, changed lambda and it was running spot on and seemed to have a smooth idle

I've literally got the exact same problem, changed the plugs leads and coil pack and still playing up!

Try your front lambda sensor no doubt it will be knackered, mine had a cheap one fitted replaced with a Bosch and it idles Perfect, also I tried 2 different sets of injectors and it was the lambda that sorted the problem out for me

I've had this exact same fault twice and it turned out to be a faulty injector on both occasions.
Having a faulty injector can throw up the exact same symptoms as having a failing lambda sensor.

On each occasion what did u do about replacing the injectors. Did u use new or second hand ones please ?

I wouldn't risk second hand injectors, euro car parts sell the new oem ones fairly cheaply
It will only be the injector on the misfiring cylinder that's failing. So you only need to buy one injector for cylinder three.

There's a replacement guide on this website

Yeah that's what I mean as in how did u remedy ure issue.did u just buy the one injector for whatever cylinder u had an issue with ?

I have actually ordered a new set of 4 from renparts parts.

I just replaced the one faulty injector. However one of the other injectors failed only a few months later, in hindsight I should have just replaced all four when the first one failed.

If you replace all four I guess you'll be reducing the likelihood of this fault appearing again.
Few things I noted when doing the job, be careful of the wiring, clips and fuel rail. They feel and probably are very easy to break.
I also used petroleum jelly on the new seals to allow them to fit into the block easier, reduces the risk of the seal being cut or rolling back.

As said, return the HT leads. The Beru ones are top notch compared to the cheap rubbish. Even outside of Renault the BERUs are not a cheap lead, but with good reason ; they fit very well and last ages. You pay peanuts and you'll get monkeys .

As said, I reckon it will be an injector fault.
