182 FF Blower not working



Just a bit of an introduction, I bought a 2004 182 FF a few weeks ago and am now getting round to fixing a few things on it. The main problem with it (that I know of) is that the blower doesn't work. The display all works fine, and when I change the settings of it (fan speed, temp etc.) I can hear 'something' happening behind the dash, but there is absolutely no air coming out. When I bought it there was cold air coming out, but there would be no hot air, and then the day after I bought it, it cut out completely. I bought a multimeter and tested the 'prongs' on the resistor pack and got no reading, so I bought a new one. Turns out I measured it incorrectly so I needn't bought it but hey. Should preface that I am completely new to working on cars and definitely with using a multimeter or doing anything electrical.

I put the new resistor pack in this morning assuming that it would fix the problem, however it did not. I tested both the resistance of the new and original resistor packs, and these are the measurements I got (I had the red lead of the multimeter on 'prong' 5 - furthest left- and tested the others with the black lead) See image 1. Original resistor pack: Prong 4: 1634 ohms, Prong 3: around 1500 ohms but different each time and only flashes up before going back to 1, Prong 2: between 1400-2000 different each time and then quickly back to 1 again, Prong 1: 360 pretty stable and stays on. New resistor pack: Prong 4: 1728 ohms, Prong 3: Between 1400-1900 ohms different each time and quickly back to 1 after flashing up, Prong 2: 1600-1800 and again different each time and only flashes up, Prong 1: 390 pretty stable and stays on. In my eyes some pretty strange things happening, but they seem to be pretty similar between the new and old resistor packs, so I deduce from that, that the resistor pack is not the problem.

Next, I checked the pink plug that connects to the resistor pack with the ignition on and blower on max and had the black lead in 5. 4: 12.4V, 3: 0V, 2: 0V, 1: Goes down as I check it? Not sure what's normal with that to be honest.

I then checked the small connector with the brown and yellow wire coming out of it, which had 6.4V, which doesn't seem abnormal to me, but again I don't know much haha.
Then checked the resistance of the blue connector, which I think would tell me if the fan motor is good? I checked each prong 'couples' and had less than 1 ohm across it, except for the couple which is middle right in the photo, which was an open circuit.

Lastly, I checked the plug which went into that for voltage, and had some which had 12V, some around 6.4V and some which had 0.

If anyone could be of any help to me it would be greatly appreciated, even if it's to tell me that I've measured everything incorrectly which I wouldn't be too surprised about. Sorry if this is a bit long-winded but just wanted to be as in depth as possible.

I have no idea about resistor packs or blowers, but if the blower is working and there is no air it could be a split cog for the airflow selector. In the drivers footwell behind the centre console part there are lots of servos that select the hot to cold, where the air goes etc. These often split meaning the servos turn, but the cogs that change hot to cold, where the air goes etc don't

I don't believe the blower is working as there's no sound at all coming from it
