Mk3 bumpers

Hi, I'm wanting to remove the plastic trim on the front and rear bumpers so I can get them colour coded but I can't figure out how to get them off. Do I need to take the bumpers off?

They just need to be pried off with a screw drive or something. The guy who sprayed mine, got them off with something that resembled a crowbar lol.

Oh right, well I tried with a screw driver and it wouldnt come off, it just felt like it was going to break

It's all good now, I just took the bumpers off taking the pieces to the bodyshop tomorrow morning
