Not worth it Si?
I dunno, I've just always been a bit wary of these 'off the shelf' maps. If i was getting a car mapped it'd be a custom RR job... and that's only worth it after cams etc...

Thats why we said live map? Worth it after de-cat,exhaust,filter and matched inlets to get the most out of them, but agreed I wouldnt get a live map unless I had cams as well. The Rs Tuner maps are fine and cheap for mild mods.
PLEASE whatever you do, fit them properly! the amount of mis alinged matched inlets i've seen is ridiculous!
Not helped by some of the PTFE gasket efforts out there. :dead:
Dumb question, how do you fit them mis alinged? Thought all the bolts would stick it where it needs to be? Or am I being just plain stupid here?

the holes in the inlets aren't a precise fit, its just a cast piece remember
you MUST remove the fuel rail and look down the injector holes and line them up with the ports, otherwise you're wasting your time by just chucking them on
So how would you align them? sit them on, run the bolts down (but not tight) then move them by looking down the injector holes till they line up and tighten the bolts??
Im scared mine are all over the show tbh, gunna have them off tomorrow to have a look. Noob question but how easy is the fuel rail to remove? Ive not had to do it before.
why would u live map a clio sport . i have live mapped cars before but only turbo cars where it is worth it ? or that the car has had bigger injectors/turbo used so then idle needed sorting . surely a waste on a n/a where u gain about 7bhp anyway !
