I'm in the final throws of converting a late Campus to a 172/182. Everything is basically swapped over and the car is running.
I reached the stage of bleeding the brakes and plugged an RS Tuner in to activate the ABS pump.
However, I'm getting zero communication with the ABS system. The RS Tuner doesn't even detect it.
I have cleaned the contacts on the main plug, checked the condition of the wiring etc and everything looks okay. I've checked for 12v at the plug, which I'm getting.
I'm not 100% certain it's the ABS unit, but it's looking likely.
If I'm to swap the ABS unit, does it need to be matching part numbers? Or is there another matching serial number etc? If I can't find a matching one, what are my options?
Any help or other ideas of things to check would be appreciated.
