Interior blower always running - mk2 172

Hello,

For the last week, whenever I turn the car switch on, immediately the fan blower starts to run in full speed. It will only turn-off when the car is turned off.

I have no control over the power it blows the air.
I still have control over the temperature and where the air will come out from.

Any idea anyone what may be the cause of the problem?

hi mate, sounds like the heater resistor or relay has failed, this will do one of two things, either not work atol or work on full wack, you will have to check where this is on this model, im only new to clios.

Will check it today.

Any idea how can I make sure the problem is in the sensor? As the usual way of checking is by connection wire 1 to 5, but in my case the fan already working permanently...

Hi mate, it is the heat resistor mine was stuck on number 4 permantly i changed resistor and it works perfect again, if you send me it i can change it and send you it back £25

This is 99% Resistor pack. Runs on full even if you turn the fan speed up / down on the control panel.
