I have money also to put towards it if I fancied changing up. Ie a 7k DC5 would maybe be a good option.

Part exchange value for 1.2 16v?

Just wondered if anyone knew if you would get a higher or lower part exchange value for a modified or non modified car. Anyone guess on a ballpark figure as well? The car in subject is the one below:

Modifications lower the value to nearly everyone bar yourself if you can put it back to standard before part-ex do it. Car sounds a nice spec though.

I bought the car in November 2009 off a family member, and since then have spent alot of time and money on the car.

just bought a Clio extreme 3 1.2, just wondering if i got a good deal or not.

Got a years MOT and TAX
the cars pretty good nick bar 3 little dents
only covered 22,000 miles
just serviced before i bought and the timing belt was done as it is 54 plate,
bought it for 3200 quid from a dealer

I bought my Mint 51 Reg Clio 172 in Sept with 13k on the clock and Im thinking about selling it whilst its still in mint condition and low mileage.

Im wondering what people think it is worth?

4 nearly new pilot sport 3's

2000 Clio 1.6 16v Rsi. Whats it worth?

i have had this car for about 14 months now and am looking to sell it but would like to know how much people think it's worth.

It's got 99k miles on the clock.
Uprated alarm from autowatch (with 2 keys)
lots of paper work
half leather interior
great condition apart from drivers side quarter panel which has had a poor respray. Its has a run mark and black spot under the laquer.
unimodified.
metallic silver
has had new shocks and enigne mounts.

Can't think of anything else.

That must be one of the lowest mileage 172's out there and if it's mint should command a premium. Id put it up for between £3.5-4k and see how you go.

Please help value my Ph1 172

I'm considering a change of car and the Clio may have to go as I fancy buying a non-sensible weekend car. I'll be keeping a sensible car for commuting and motorway travel.

I have pictures of it here but this is the 'spec'.

• Black 2001 Phase 1 172 with 112k on it
• Full service history with loads of receipts/invoices
• All belts done in the last month by Renault mechanic
• Engine mounts replaced + exhaust hanger to fix the usual 4k rattle
• Powerflex 'dogbone'
• Recent full engine oil change using high quality oil
• Upgraded brakes with Brembo HC Discs, Ferodo DS2500 pads, braided hoses, DOT 5.1 fluid
• I have a Whiteline ARB on it's way that I can fit or sell seperately
• Replaced the rear shocks with OEM Renault ones.
• RenaultSport Cup Race car steering wheel with Momo boss
• Decent tyres all around Michelin PE2 on the back with Hankook RS2 on the front.
• I've found and eliminated every rattle I can find! I'm OCD like that!
• Repainted the black plastic trim on the outside as it was faded slightly
• Always fed it Premium Unleaded whilst I've had it

Bad Bits:

• Some stone chips on the bonnet (not 'bad' but there nevertheless), probably just a 'touch up' paint job that I've not got round to yet.
• Wheels paint finish needs sorting, needs painting/refurbing. I could get these done but not sure if it's worth doing i.e. would I get £250 more if I refurbed them at that cost?

That's literally it. I'm really fussy about it, hence fixing things like rattles. I've gone with the ethos of keeping it as standard looking as possible.

So what do you think it's worth? I'd really appreciate your advice? I've probably spent the best part of £700+ on it since buying it.

The miles is what hurts.

You might get lucky nearer to 2k but people seem to want to buy cars that are still on less than 50k miles no matter how old they are. When cars are 10 years old, the mileage is going to be getting into triple digits.
