Just my opinion, but you'll get LESS money with those wheels on, most people, especially enthusiasts, don't want to see after market wheels, especially ones that are pretty much regarded as too big for the car.

How much would this be worth roughly:
2004 Black gold 182 with both cup packs.

Mot til Nov 2011
Tax until June 2011
Full cambelt/dephaser/aux belt service at 60k.
Std anthracite wheels refurbed.
Interior and exterior in vgc.
Headlights corrected.
Ktec group N engine mounts.
All new exhaust rubbers fitted.
Eibach sportlines and new oe dampers.

Brembo hc disks, rear renaults disks and pads, ate superblue fluid - all changed at 60k.

How much is it worth?
Hi guys,
I have a Clio 182, Black gold with 32k miles on her. I'm the 7th owner. A few weeks ago i spent excess of a thousand on cam/aux belt, remap, scorpion 192 exhaust etc.
its a 54 plate....tyres all vertually new.
what price would you say to advertise for?

Ahh yes but u also have to price for people not lookin at the right stuff I.e. Just seeing the belts done and low miles
Some people don't look too far into them like people on CS do

maybe in the old days- however theres not many f*kwits walking about these days- most if not all are clued up-
Also theres 3 age old questions that people want to know thats embedded in 'mum & dads mind'-
mileage, service history & number of owners.....
If it was mint with say 2 or 3 owners you could squeeze 4.6 ish- however your going to lose out a fair whack on the owners.....

But like u said MOST are clued up
If u price for some1 with a bit of cash lookin for something fun and looks not bad but also won't touch there car in any way even changing a bulb then u should get ur 4700 back
people will look some will forget to ask that owners question but also there mind will be taken off that by miles and service history

Im thinking of selling my car but only if I can get a resonable price for it.
Clio Sport 182 cup, 47k, 04plate, metalic blue, fsh, 12 month mot, just got new front brakes.

RB FF 182
- 2002 'Imported' Iceberg 172 on 80,300 miles
- Cup turinis with Eagle F1's all round, some kerbing to two alloys (standard 172 wheel as spare with contisport tyre)
- Cam Belt Kit, Aux Belt Kit, and Dephaser done in january by a specialist near to my home...
- New engine mounts fitted in January (Upper engine mount, upper gearbox mount, and powerflex dogone)...
- OE Rear springs and shocks changed at about 76k
- Full service history bar the last service, which I did my self (changed plugs and oil)
- Bodywork in good condition, usual scratches for an 8 year old car
- K&N panel filter, otherwise standard induction set up
- Magnax cat back oval exhaust
- New rear axle bushes fitted at 70k
- Uprated 5000k Xenon bulbs
- Refurbished headlight units
- new track rod ends and steering arms fitted by BTM at 80,000 miles
The car has had 6 owners including me, and its because there was obviously alot of work due on the car, which has all been done!!
Think that's all that's relevant... I am thinking of trading it in and have been offered £2000 by a dealer. Thoughts?

What's it worth?
I'm considering ending my Clio ownership early, whilst I love the drive of the car "on the boil" so to speak, I misjudged my need to simply get around, and for that it is slightly tedious compared to what I'm used to.
I've no idea how to price it, however, as there aren't really any examples like this with this kind of mileage.
The car is pretty much mint externally - pictures in project thread here.
Inside is just as tidy since sorting out the thumb grips and gear knob insert.
Vitals: 182 "FF", 136k motorway miles (no, really), 1 owner (excluding me, obviously), FRSH, PE2s all round with at least 5mm tread, both keys present etc.
All done in the last two weeks/this week: Cambelt, De-phaser, auxbelt, oil, filter, gearbox oil, brake fluid, pads, discs and braided lines all round, lower dogbone mount polybushed, decat, panel filter, full geo setup, as well as a machine polish/"detail".
Everything works, electric windows, climate control, aircon is cold, central/remote locking etc.
To me, it sounds like the perfect Clio with everything already done if you're in the market to buy one, providing you can look past the numbers on the odometer.
For those that are curious, I'm probably going to look at a Megane 225 or RX8 next
