Nope, all STD again now! No one wanted to but it modded which is what I couldnt work out!

2003 Expression, 46k miles (Full service history, will come with 12months MOT and about 8months tax)
Pearl Sliver
Mint Condition - interior & bodywork
Few of the extras: 16" Oz Ultraleggeras, V-maxx coilies, full 182 interior (inc. steering wheel), colour coded (inc. interior strips and door pillars), HID lights and few other things.

Alloys and the coilies have only done about 500miles max so near enough new.

Looking for a price for it standard and a price with the mods.

I've had my Clio up for sale for almost a month now, with hardly any interest at all. Not one viewer, mostly people asking for a swap, or offering me low money before even coming to see the car.

I'm hoping for some assistance from you guys with regards to how I should price my advert before I spend yet more money advertising.

Realistically, what is the most I could expect to advertise for to gain some interest. I paid £4995 for the car last November from a local dealer (probably a bit high but I liked the car so wanted it)

2004 (53) Clio 172 registered February 2004. (Not a Cup model)
54000 miles
MOT Nov 10
Tax Jan 11
Part dealer history, receipts for services not done by dealer
Cambelt done 51,500 miles
Sports Suspension and exhaust, 17" alloys (not to everyones taste)
Bodywork in excellent condition. Few stone chips, small ding in drivers door.
Interior in excellent condition, no rips, tears or burns.

just bought a 182 cup (racing blue)
52,000 miles
full mot, full years tax(thrown in by garage!)
immaculate bodywork, wheels looked bad but the garage had them refurbed before i picked it up,
they also chucked in a lifetime warranty (as long as i own the car and have it serviced there yearly)
and they have just done the cambelt for me.
i paid 6000 for the car, having looked on autotrader etc i think this was prob slightly high,
but i got a lot thrown in!!
did i get a good deal?

Alright folks just looking for an idea for what I should try and sell my car at. Its a 182 46000ish miles full service history including timing belt etc...
on the down side the climate control is goosed and the near side wheels are scratched. exhaust probably needs attention.

I love the thing but its just no worth the money I'm paying for the distance I'm going (5 mile a day round journey to work) and the belly is only getting bigger so its time to get a new mountain bike.

any feedback would be great cheers

How about mine?

54 plate RB 182 with both cup packs, 78k miles, Janspeed supersport exhaust and sports cat fitted late last year. Cambelt service done last October and FSH before that. Tax, MoT, service etc not needed till the end of the year. Good condition with the usual odd stone chips, kerb marks on the alloys etc.

I'm thinking somewhere between £4.5k - £5k. What do people think?

Its in great condition for an 8 year old car! There are the few stone chips on the bumper/bonnet though

This is also one of the rare 172's with the factory fitted Sat Nav (one of only 77 made, and one of only 17 in Flame Red)

Bad times!! I paid £3.5k for it in February... Thought it might fetch a little more with the "rarity"rolleyes of it and the fact it has the low mileage for its age!
Good job I dont wanna get rid for quite a while

well, If you sold it for say 3.3 now your depreciation would be £200 for 4 months,-- £600 for the year-

thats not all that bad.............

I'm possibly looking at selling my clio and going back to a 225 meg. Spec as follows:
Black 172 52 plate
80k miles
service history
12 months mot 4 months tax
just been serviced with belts done again and head cleaned and skimmed.
Powerflow exhaust
Vmaxx coilovers - 3 months old
Jms works package - manifolds matched, mapped and induction kit.
Now latest rs tuner map
16 inch cup alloys - turinis in dark grey, mint with Goodyear f1's.
Usual stone chips etc on an 8yr old car but otherwise excellent condition.

Any ideas on price?

Well it's a late model 172 which is a positive, mileage is good, cambelt done, you say bodywork and interior in decent nick.
Wheels and exhaust may put some people off, do you have standards?
What colour is it?
If it was mint I'd say around the 4k mark, as it is maybe 3.5k. Depends on how quickly you need to sell.

Well it's RB and an 05 plate, maybe I was being a bit harsh.You could have got it cheaper privately but you have piece of mind through the garage and extras you've listed. Enjoy, you're happy that's the main thing.
