How do i change the auxiliary belt on my 1.2 clio

  renault clio 1.2
hi,

first post so I hope I don't upset any one.

I have just done a service on my car including full Oil/Filter etc..

I would really like to change my aux belt and possible alternator belt also but I cant find anything online to help.

my car is a clio 1.2 2005 with air con and power steering, when I have a look I can see two different belts the auxiliary one being more thicker than the alternator one, but I cant see any way to remove them? it looked like the auxiliary drives the alternator belt which is on the same cog. it cant simply be the case of just removing and putting new ones on.

ANY HELP WOULD BE VERY MUCH APPRICATED :)

There is usually a spring loaded tensioner on the belt, slaken this off and you can pry the old one off and put a new one on... if theres no tensioner then the adjustment is on the altinator
