had my camber done today

had my camber all sorted today but i will say if i ever have to get it done on another motor im gonna have a go myself had 4 wheel alignment and camber corrected and it cost me £70

You could do it yourself, but youd need the laser alignment tools, a suitable ramp etc.. heh.. not cheap.

£70 is a lot tho.. tracking is what, £25? so £45 for camber?

But if it now handles better its a small price to pay. Handling is most important aspect of the car so money well spent.

Eh, you dont need lasers ot set camber, a peice of string, wood, protactor and a nail will do it accurately.

but 75 quid!!!!

stung.

Soz for the slight hijack but I had my tracking done today. Cost me £35 as they had to get the blow torch out. Feels much, much different.

Much, much better though. Not as dead around the straight ahead. Theyve also got my steering wheel almost straight now (save for maybe .5 of a degree). Turn in is much easier for a kick off, but then mine were toe-ing out 5mm beforehand!

Will just have to give it some time for the tyres to scrub in the right way before really testing the difference.
