I think we've got the paint scheme wrong on this one, still here's some pretty photo's of it....

Very nice piece of kit. Didn't you post some pics of another of your trucks before?

(Just wait 'til that trailer gets covered in s**t)

The full unit went over when a road collapsed last week, bad times, it's being straightened as we speak.

Which dealer is it you use for servicing the 730's out of interest?

Crossroads or Scania Hull.

What's the interior like? How many miles to the gallon? What's the service intervals? Things I've always pondered about trucks but never bothered to Google.

MPG = 6-8 for high powered stuff.

Service every 100k or so.

The new FH looks awesome, nice piece of kit, but bet it doesn't stay that clean for long!

Still have a soft spot for a T series though

Im guessing you got your inspiration from Eddie Stobarts trucks?

Confused as to why you would choose such a similar scheme?

Either way it looks class!

As fast as it would be with a trailer mate! They're speed limited to 89km/h. Unless your Irish of course. They get special 'unlimited' models. All at the flick of a switch!!! ;)

Or the drop of a magnet!!

My old Sparks motor would stomp on well. Had the tacho cal with properly f**ked recut 295's. Was then always running new tyres. Would happily sit around 59(and pass the majority of Irish fridge motors too!), was only a remapped 420 opti-cruise though. I had a Keedwell motor that was a Scottish-registered truck which would do 58 too.

Having driven a 580 R series, I'd love to see how well the 730's go.

The new FH Globetrotters do look good.

Magnet is old hat now dan!! Lol! The latest way they do it is to have a box of tricks in between the digi tacho head to interrupt the wiring, and at the press of a button on a remote control fob your limiter less. The other way is to send your digi head to a place in Europe that puts a microchip inside to do the exact same thing. Beauty of that way is its untraceable to the ministry.
4 series are the easiest though...........just one wire with a switch on it and your Romeo done! Lol! Being a scania master tech has its advantages!;) Flol

FLOL yeh I've been out of the tramping and running bent for a few years now. Remember the old 3 series where you could flick the ign off and on a few times and it'd loose the limiter? Or putting a ball bearing up the pipe to the regulator on the earliest ones..

I had a very close call once, coming past beattock(sp) was running slightly bent - come up from Glastonbury and was in my way back ;)

Ministry were out, pulled the paddy behind me and the Hungarian Infront.

Bricks were shat!
