Flange between downpipe and CAT - buggered?

Is this as bad as it looks, or do they all appear to have a gap the size of a river?

And if it is indeed almost buggered (which I suspect) I can only assume I am looking at a new downpipe?

Mine has a gap like that so if yours is gone mine is too lol seems to be working fine though ATM

O and forgot to add Birchdown went over mine and it didn't come up when they played with the exhaust

Thanks chaps. I presume the fitting kit consists of the flange on the downpipe side, and the 2 bolts/springs? or is that flange attached to the downpipe? Only slightly confused as the decat which I bought but didn't fit came with a looser flange, which I found odd.
