First car, first Clio, first forum...

Hey guys, 17 year old here from the beautiful town of 'Brum, just yesterday i purchased my first car, i wont lie i had my heart set on a new shape corsa, but i was wandering through forecourts and this baby caught my eye... and i'm glad it did!

I'm only after a provisional driver so cant really comment on the ride, but i have had a play and my old man assures me its a lovely drive... this coming from an owner of a brand new Audi A4... I'm by no means a car specialist, enthusiast or rally driver, but I am certainly looking to get the most from my new motor and i hope that i will grow as a driver, as well as become part of the community here, where i have spent many days lurking for ideas!

I gave the car a fairly solid (in my opinion) once over earlier today with my dads cleaning products, which consists primarily of AG polishes/waxes etc, i'm aware that its not the best quality, but for my first ever cleaning of a car im pretty chuffed.

Thats enough babbling anyway, I hope you guys will offer some advice, tips and hugs (or whatever other creepy stuff you guys do on the internet)!
i've added a couple of rushed pictures to give you an idea of what im working with...

Looks good.

Best bet is to leave it standard for your first year or two and build up some no claims!

I made the mistake of buying loads of cars, cancelling policies etc just so i could drive a better car etc. Now I only have 1 year NCB and I'm 20! , Could have had nearly 3 ;)

Don't waste too much modding it either, I wasted thousands (although i did enjoy it) on my 1.6.

Simple mods to freshen it up like an RS front grill, Turini / 182 cup alloys, Cup spoiler and couple of other small bits and it will look perfect while not breaking the bank!!

Enjoy driving once you pass and welcome to the forum!!
