espace V6 airbox

ive recently bought a pipercross race filter for my ph1, i tried to get one of these new from a pipercross supplier few months ago and they only listed one filter, the road one, now after looking at it i see people are using the espace V6 airbox, i assume this is the one the race filter is made for?

basically just wondering is the ph1 and espace box the same just with a different CAF setup (so my new filter will fit my ph1 airbox?)

id go and find out myself but my car is under about a foot of snow lol

and lastly if it does fit i assume there isnt really a gain to be had from changing from ph1 box to espace v6 box?

v6 is the same size airbox and outlet, just 1 inlet slightly larger than the 2 smaller ones on the ph1 box. doubt it's worth anything extra.
