Electric FL, EML, loss of coolant.

1.2 16v, 2003 clio.

Cleaned the car about 2 weeks ago, noticed the coolant was low so gave it a little top up. Few days later, it goes into limp mode and the EFL/WiF light comes on followed by the EML. Had a quick check about and noticed the coolant was at min, so topped it back up again. Still same loss of power, same lights. Few days later, everything is fine and has been fine since, until today, problems back and half the coolant is gone again.
Its absolutely killing me, I've searched the forum and the Inet... but no one I can find has had the exact same problems.
Any ideas?

I've come across people saying : throttle needs cleaning, Pedal replacing, CoilPack, etc etc, but none of those have apparently fixed the problems and no one has hadthe loss of water aswell?

Any help or ideas would be appreciated?:(

Could it possibly be the HeadGasket?
EML is still on, but Electric fault light has turned off.. no limp/get home safe...
Any ideas?

No I havent, I was warned about this problem by the guy from the RAC. He covered the wires with some card, and then wrapped it in black tape and said next time I was having anything done to ask the mech to remove it.
Could that be causing the problems?

Ive got a similar problem, but I don't get the limit of revs or power, just very unsteady idle, and cuts out if I come to a stop. I haven't worked out how to get the little black box off yet?? Any help?

I'll pull the stuff off tomorrow in proper light and have a look and check what the current condition... but when they were sealed condition was fine.
Car is now running pretty much perfect, annoying thing is that coolant is sitting at minimum level on. It seems everytime I fill it back up it runs like a dog until it sucks the water somewhere and then is back to normal.
I know alot of people mention the water pump but I had that changed back in July 08, covered about 20k miles... Possible that its went already?

Right, Well battery was completely drained tonight after leaving it all day.
The fog lights had decided to not turn off at all this morning until the battery was completely dead,
Called the RAC, Popped the fuse out of the car, started fine.
Got the lad to get it on the RAC laptops and read the faults...
Came back with 125 Pedal Potentiometer Circuit Track One.
207 Upstream Sensor Signal Input.
So, Pedal will no doubt need changing, and Lambda Sensor before the cat If he was right?
Could this have caused the above problems? Rough Ideas on prices to sort it?

Could this have any connection between the loss of water aswell?
Its still got me absolutely baffled, it sounds like something is sucking water when revvin over on cold?
