Only have one question, How did you manage that ?!

The centre dash tray was loose, with coins and my work key in there. I grabbed some coins and accidently flipped the key and it fell down the vent.

I suppose after driving about for a while it may fall out the bottom into the foot well. That's ok unless you need the key ASAP otherwise it going to be dash off job

Get one of those flexy magnetic things? If it can fit obv.

No rush actually, fingers crossed it works this way..

I took the 'grills' off the dash, no key to be found - think it slipped straight past.

I'll see if I can borrow a flexi magnet tool before I do anything drastic.

Magnet on a string. Drop it down, pull it out.

Go for a drive and just swerve left and right see if you can make it loose and drop down.

​Haha, I'd advise against doing it anywhere busy/public.

I dropped a quid Down there once. It was an absolute pain to get out because it wasn't magnetic. You might be lucky if you have a magnet though.

Must be a tech thing. I've exactly the same thing. Could hear it at Bedford rolling from side to side round the bends PMSL.
