£20 plus fees mate. Found a member on here that was selling a cup bumper and I asked if he would sell just the blanks, which he agreed to. You thinking of doing the same to yours?

I did. Went down my local spray shop and got a rattle can of bg. They do a really good colour match. Gave it a few good coats of paint and lacquer to make it look oem. Looks really good I think.

Washer blanks look great :)

I took my headlights off to do it yes. I didn't fancy taking the hairdryer outside as the cold air wouldn't help things... I fitted them straight away though and think I should have left them overnight to stick properly - that's probably why they ended up shrivelling a bit.#

Oh and I fitted them last night  no photos though as it was going dark and the car's filthy! I'll get some tomorrow.

Ah ok, ill do the same then. Mine need a going over with some wet n dry again as there starting to look murky again on the edges. Is it a simple case of bumper off, 2/3 bolts holding the actual headlight in place and un-clipping the bulbs? I've never taken off the headlights before.

Thanks Jamie, i'll probably attack them Sunday if the weather holds out.

They do come up for sale dan so keep an eye out as they go super quick. Try and make sure the clips/threads are intact as it pulls the blanks in towards the bumper for a better fit than just tiger sealing them on.

Thanks matt. (Not sure if serious though?)

Thanks brad :)

Looked at my blanks today as they had set and the lower corner is not completely flush, so I'm going to going to try and smear a little silicone in the gap and g-clamp them. Hopefully that will hold it flush. Seeing them on the car, im pleased with the finish of them though. I also took a blade to my old badges and cut all the old silcone off and put new divine on so they are all flush. Only downfall is I put a towel rack on the strip to add weight while it dried and I left indents on the writing :( What a wally Lol

Fitted the spacers today. Took loads of pics as clarkey-ph1 wanted to see the studs before and after.

Also had a go at fitting the headlight film. Took the headlights off and indoors, got all prepped up, then spent about 30mins trying to do one headlight and then gave up. I guess you don't know unless you try! Lol

Wow, that is a nice car. Bit too much Carbon wrapping for me. Also thought it looked much better with the polished black wheels. Love the Treadlines too! What did you use for polishing your lights? Mine could do with a bit of a touching up.

Each to there own mate. I think if I was to do it again then I wouldn't have so much carbon, but I got carried away! All I did today was go over the headlights with 2000 then 2500 grit. Needs a full going over. There's a 3m kit that's rather popular on here and cost around £20. Certainly something to look into.

Love your car.

Do you have a locking nut on one of your studs??

Thank you Martin? I don't use lockers. It's full of old people round my way so its pretty safe where I live. Should be something I should look into though, just for safe sake.

Mark any car pics with the spacers fitted yet?

Only the ones above Ian. I'm on a shift change tomorrow as we're out to a suit and dress do tomorrow eve. Providing I don't have to much to drink ill be doing some tinkering on the bg on Sunday so ill take more pics then. Its not a major change, just a subtle widening.

HI - where did you get all your carbon fibre bits inside like speaker grilles etc - they look magic....

Let me know how much you want for dash strips, gear knob insert and steering wheel bit if your selling mate, I'd be interested cheers

Yeaa if you could that would be great! My washers don't work so thought might just blank them instead for mot lol

Did you have the nuts on your old ones on your iceberg? I'd definitely recommend getting some with the nuts on the back as it just pulls in better and sits more flush. Where I've bonded mine on there not 100% flush, although its hardly noticeable. I used some G-clamps to press it clamp them harder onto the bumper. There was a set up for grabs in the for sale section recently for around £45 iirc.

My writing on my wheels had starting to rub away. Thought I'd leave it but it got worse the more times i cleaned them so I used 2500 wet & dry and removed them. But they looked a little bare so I bought some hub caps from Renault Wolverhampton.

I sprayed them nissan techno grey as I had some lying around but as you can see it wasnt a colour match. I just didn't want them black tbh.

Then the bumper was off because I wanted to try and clean up the carbon fogs. The had been bonded on but were really forgiving when being removed. Thought they was going to snap at one point!

After various grades of wet & dry and a few coats of lacquer. Not perfect but a lot better and cleaner.

I then ordered some stickers off ady@n2grafix as I thought the caps looked a little bare. I also got some spray that I thought would be a better colour for the caps against the wheels. I took about 4 cans out and laid them next to the wheels and thought this was the closest. Still not a colour match but meh!

I have also ordered some "mist" style washer jets as mine only spray out of 3 holes.

Also yesterday I bought carbon rear bump strip, another set of carbon dash strips, carbon hazard surround panel and carbon splitter off budgie on here. I was going to buy a new splitter this month and a new rear bump strip at a later date (mine is cracked and the skin is breaking away :() but I saw these came up for sale and dropped him a PM. The splitter is chipped but only needs a flatten down a relaquer. I don't mind doing this as I got the lot for a good deal :) Will get pics up when I pick them up. Once fitted, my existing carbon dash strips and carbon hazard panel will be up for grabs if anyone is interested.
