diagnostic costs at renault

my car has had an electrical fault for a while now. its been on a snap on diagnostic machine however known of the fault codes this machine picked up was the cause.
the company i went to mentioned taking the car into renault and seeing if their diagnostic machine could pick up the potential 5-10% of codes the snap on one couldn't.

anyone know roughly how much I should expect to pay at renault for doing this?

My local dealer charge £40 + VAT a pop.

However they've forgotton to do so for the last few times...

i hope if i do book it in with them they forget as well!
i hear that k-tec have a renault diagnostic machine, anyone know if there are any companies a bit further north then k-tec that have one? im based in milton keynes.
