Damp issues around ceiling - mould developed on rear seats, passenger seatbelt

Hey guys,

As the title describes I have been having a problem with dampness in my wee 98 mk2 :( It is clear on the ceiling where the cloth meets the doors etc there is darker streaks of dampness. The passenger side door seems to be a particularly bad spot where at one point the whole carpet on its side was soaking.

The next is that a small patch of mould has developed on the rear seat bench in the middle.

What would be the best way to effectively clean and get rid of the mould? Secondly, is it possibly to replace the seals around the doors?

Kind regards,

Gavin.

Remove the bench and get a bowl of soapy water and a big sponge to clean it off.

Do you have a sunroof? My first guess would be that what's letting water in.

The sunroof does leak too unfortunately! I'll have a look for the guide how to sort it

Does anyone know whether it is possibly to replace the door seals?
