Any ideas on repairing this? Gutted tbh, I guess most go this way eventually. At least I got six months out of it!

Well, I say potholes... my girlfriend referred to it as 'Afghanistan Road' :dead: really shouldn't have attempted it.

Tbh it will be worse than that pretty soon. Mines near enough matt finish now after snow ploughing with it.

Take it off and give a few coats of lacquer

resin fill the chipped bits, and lightly sand it , lacquer and done :)

alltho it will just get battered again anyway lol

Wouldnt using fine grade paper then compunds and polishes make the scratches look abit better like it would with paint?

Im not sure at all when it comes to carbon fibre.

Mines looking worse for wear now too.
It's got no gloss no more :(

Tempted to just f**k it off and get a skoda one

Are these carbon fibre ones no good then?

Im contemplating getting an origional cup pack one, my skoda one looks ok and its very durable but it doesnt quite look as good as the cup one imo.

Do renault still sell them?

If it was a show car they are good, but they just get stone chipped and lose their gloss finish.

I think the cup ones are still available but they aren't cheap

Yeah think the cup pack ones are pretty costly, skoda ones ftw they don't look as good but can take a battering and are cheap as chips.

My carbon one gets scraped on a daily basis and apart from one crack its held up great after roughly 5 years on the car. If it was any lower than 40mm though i wouldn't bother

I'm sure Adam at Renault parts Wolverhampton could get one cheaper than that.
Still, get a skoda one

Adam was circa £120 IIRC. Skoda ones are cheap because they look s**t, genuine cup FTW!

Cup ones can crack just as easy too, in fact don't they shatter?

Yeah maybe I'm over-reacting a bit but I'm sure you understand! Just want it looking perfect, but now I get a little annoyed looking at the front each time. I guess I just have to remember everyone seems to crack them eventually lol :(
