Clutch pedal adjustment on a 55 1.2 16v?

Hey guys, haven't been on for ages since I sold the valver and bought a vectra (turns out vauxhall engineering isn't any better than renault, who knew?)

Neighbours son just bought a 1.2 16v on a 55' plate. Biting point is really high on the pedal, is it adjustable? I remember it used to be pretty high on the valver anyway and the clutch lasted for ages so couldn't have been worn or anything just naturally sat in that position, is it same on the newer ones?

auto adjusting, they are high as standard though so just need to put up with it!
