People probably know but for those that don’t - if you are planning on using a GoPro on your car make sure it is tethered/fixed to the car. I’ve just been told to remove my suction mount on the inside of my windscreen by one of the marshals at Angelsey as “it isn’t secure enough”. The up side of this is there is no evidence of me cocking up the first corner of my first hot lap of the day and pointing the wrong way while everyone passes me.

Providing I can find them, I have a bundle of tethers for those that need them. Let me know and ill try and find them and bring them to CSF with me for people to use/have (ive got the one I use and never needed the other 10)

I only managed to get the morning booked so I'd be keen if an afternoon magically became available.

I've mentioned it to what would be my bro in law if I'd ever bothered to get married. Sounds like he's pretty damn excited to come down and passenger with me but if the CSF Taxi service is running or anyone else doesn't mind taking him out it'd make it an even better day for him to experience a few different cars! Just need to sort a helmet out cos I wouldn't really want to leave it to chance.

If that fails are bike ones still accepted? The "cheap" OMP and Sparco trackday ones are looking about £90 now. I guess we could just make sure we're there at the crack of dawn and get first pick of the hire ones.

Sad to say but, I recently left the team I was with - so as things stand, the hot lap cars are a little up in the air.
I made sure to let @Nik know before posting this up.

I'm hoping that I can get my hands on a new gen Clio Cup racer for the day🤞
I've got a few other options and folk to get in touch with and there's still a bit of time to spare so we'll get something sorted.

If anyone is willing to volunteer a car to be driven by a professional for the day, feel free. It'll be abused, thrown on two wheels but done in a loving way.

Alternatively, if anyone wants to help out - I have a 172 cup here with a full cage in it and a few other spicy bits that I'm happy to kick the crap out of for the day.
It laps quicker than the cup racer did, just need a passenger seat for wide boys and maybe a hand sorting a few other bits.

Either way, we'll make it happen
