Clio 197 ITG panel filter and Remap

  Clio 197
After a bit of research it seemed the ITG panel filter was the best air intake upgrade to get for the 197 including panel filters and induction kits so I purchased and installed.

Definately made a difference to responsiveness and sounds a little nicer.

I then had it remapped yesterday and that has also definatley made a difference. As soon as you put your foot down it pulls straight away so you dont have to rev the nuts off it to make it go fast. Much nicer to drive and alot better from cold. Alot more smooth power delivery from 2000rpm all the way to 7500rpm. I used to find it only really felt quick when you got to around 4/5000rpm. Now it feels quick from 2500rpm. Not sure on exact bhp and torque gains but the guy said probably around 6bhp gain and 20-30nm of torque.

So for anyone thinking of getting a panel filter/induction kit for the 197 I would go for the ITG panel filter. And get it remapped, well worth it. Shag me.

So easy to fit as well. Pull the old one out, slot the new one in.

Radical remaps did mine. Only charged me £200 as its a non turbo and the gains wouldn't be massive.

You had yours remapped?

I've got a 200 with an ITG panel filter. Brilliant little piece of kit. Who remapped your 197?

Not yet. I need it though. I've had a silencer removed and a decat so kinda need one. Took it to a place down here who specialise in re maps and they couldn't do it :/ I didn't want an "off the shelf map" as I've got mods. Take it radical is near you then? I'm not lol
