Changing seats in 02 clio

Hi guys,

Got the opportunity of some seats from another clio front and rear, same year and model. Just cleaner and not ripped.

How much of a ball ache is it to do a straight swap? Do I have to take the full seat frames out?

Easy as anything, Remove the plastic trims on both sides of the seats. Undo the two nuts door side and the three handbrake side and seat will lift off the runners. Unplug the wiring too. Do the opposite for putting the new ones in. Make sure you disconnect the battery first so you don't trip your airbags, just in case!

or you can remove the 4 bolts from under the car. 2 under rubber grommets near the sill and 2 nearer the centre the car. As above then just remove the wiring and the seat will lift out.

Rears are ok, bottoom halves of the rears just lift out, tops are bolted to the isofix bar with 2 bolts, these can be a pain as the bottoms of the bolts rust but once removed the top half will come out

What he said, I did it today to fit a bucket seat. Jack the car up and undo the 4 bolts below the seats, easy as pie!
