The guy that did the paintwork is pretty good, but some of the stuff people have him do is terrible.

Who the f**k wants this?

22" alloys on a C2? Even just for show, the profile view looks s**t.

Then you see the rest of the car.

£108k? Even in Zimbabwean dollars, you're getting bummed.

"It is a real head turner. However as our business has evolved over the last few years the business has changed, which has resulted in the need for the car this last year has been very low."

No. That's because its s**t.

The 306 that was in Top Gear racing an MG ended up in an Edinburgh scrap yard, V6 engine and most of the interior still in place.
I don't remember that C2 being on Top Gear though?

Lordy. The hours in making that must have been frightening; just look at the fibreglass work inside the thing. It might look silly now but, in the context of the time it was built and the market it was aiming for (the height of the mental Max Power days), you can see why they did it. It certainly stands out. I don't know if £100k is right but I bet it cost more than a few quid.

Height of the Max Power days was late 90's into early 2000's.
This appeared late 2005, market was well on the wane by then really.

Probably one of the last big, stupid show cars, made for a market that was shrinking very fast.

I always liked the orange Corrado they did remember seeing that at the NEC motorshow around 1997 I think.
Most of the cars were s**t but at least things were more interesting back then.

Bit more consumer/business focused on stuff they actually do now though, cos when you think about it what were they actually selling??

That C2 is case and point, the company sold car audio and did installs - but they didn't do any of the paint/bodywork or suspension stuff.
Spent £100K on a big rolling advert, but in actual fact didn't have the capacity to make it themselves.

Company that made it folded, they guys still operates a small car audio business in Manchester tho.

You have to give it a week or two to see if that person actually comes forward with cash.
