Taking part in the races though, was an absolute hero, in his Escort RS200. Rally spec, apparently the guy had been doing it for 12 years or more, and now "fancied throwing it on the track!"
Was great to see it sideways through Becketts and Maggots!

I was worried about hitting the pit wall, because that would have been expensive, but once that had gone by, it was just a case of waiting for it all to stop.

Going in the gravel was a saver really, as I would have tried to carry on, and looking at the state of the tyres, that wouldn't have been a very good idea.

Not built by TDF, built by WSR for Rob Collard to be used in the Netherlands. Then the chap purchased it off WSR and TDF 'maintained' it.

Guys had it 10 years, and it still doesn't run/work properly. Lol
