Bodykit Bonding Glue!

Anyone know how hard this stuff is to get off? Holding my side skirts on is a strip of this stuff and two bolts.. I wanna get them off if possible but this stuff sets rock hard..

Any ideas? I need to put the skirts on again afterwards so hammer is out of the question!

Dude ive seen that stuff pull paint clean off!

Ah! So if it just pulls paint off, its ok - its under the side skirt.. and when Ive done what I wanna do (lower car, yer doing it right? hehe) - Im gunna put them back on!

At the moment, you cant get to the torsion bar cus they are in the way!

you only have to pull the torsion bars out an inch either side thou

Dude, How do you get the socket in? There is a 3 - 4 cm gap one side!

oh i see, remove the screws and run a stanley blade down the adhesive then.

when the skirts off the adhesive (stickoflex) should peel off. Use a bit of petrol on a rag to get the remains off which should leave a solvent free surface to restick again
