Bill Thompson wrote a good article on this on the BBC news website the other week. Will dig out a link later... The basic jist was that you don't need anti-virus, but need something to protect against spyware etc (which many people forget...)

  cock mobile.
Yer that was a good read ^

He basically slammed Mac users for thinking they are immune; did you read the follow up article? Seemed like a lot of Mac users emailed him with some angry comments. lol.

  A blue one.
What a big pile of crap that article is!

This line sums it up "They can't spread as easily, and most would only be installed by a careless user clicking "Accept" on a dodgy install dialog"

If you click ok on system change/install dialog without knowing what it is or what caused it, then you're a moron and deserve everything you get.

This ones good as well "
There may not be any Mac viruses at the moment, and the way the system handles user accounts and security means that they are unlikely, but we need to take steps to safeguard ourselves against other malicious software."

So basically mac users are smug because they have to click OK to infect their computer with a virus, wtf is this guy on?!

I'm very happy and very smug. :)
