Whats the deal with these i've herd through the grape vine that these are illigal is this true and if so why? also if it is illigal whats the chances of gettin caught?

Banded steel wheels, they cut them in half and basically weld in a band to make it deep dished.

More of a Dub/Euro thing but looks amusing.

I wanted banded steels on my cortina at the rear, but I'm certain they are illegal, unfortunately. I went for 70's Wolfrace slot mags in the end although toyed with wheels made by a company called 'Wella'

They are really a motorsport wheel.
At the time I was looking for them the manufacturer could make them at any offset and depth you want and I'm sure they are street legal.

10inches wide these beasts! lol I dont think they produce larger than 13" diameter now though

weller wheels are approved and the likes....and so are the widewheel ones so youl be sound :)
