I'm just messing about with flash 8. It's been a while since I've used flash and a few things seem to have changed!
The thing I'm having a problem with is The way it handles the colours in text and basic symbols. I've knocked up this quick test which shows what I'm on about. For some reason the background of the text is a paler colour than everything around it. Also, on the orange shapes you can see the edges to each object quite clearly even though they should be the same colour as the fill!

Does anyone know a way to get around this? As far as I can see the animation that I've done is really simple and straightforward so I'm suprised that its doing this. Can anyone help??
