Both engien mounts done, will do the Dog and Shafts at weekend, and then my Exhaust Manifold :)

You don't mess around mate, yo will have to get inventive to fit that turbo, cutting away the bulkhead splitter?

Did you mod the subframe on the offside? What turbos that a IHI from an Evo? Also (I know you've started) but if I was building another I'd concider an 02m 6speed unless your fitting a diff to the 02j

Hey Main man ;)

Yes cut the Subframe, getting it welded up this week, I will fit a Diff, Rods and Pistons, as next years aim is 400 :)

I think the 6 speed is better and can always redo :) it if needed next year :D

I take it you got the steel subframe off a base model?

Also the 02j is not as strong as u think... I'm on box number 2. The diff is sh1t and falls apart. Although earlier ones are stronger (so I've been told) the 2000 golf box lasted 4 years of track abuse. My 18k mile 07plate Beatle box lasted 3k lol

ah sweet :D love the 1.8 turbo engines. had a ibiza cupra before.

remember, keep a spare coilpack and maf sensor handy haha!

are you gonna get the maf sensor mapped out?
using the standard management or going for an aftermarket one? Like DTA or similar?
sorry for the Q's, just really interested :)

The engine looks like it should have been there from the factory, which 20vt engine are you using?

ITS a Aum from Golf GTi. :) Custom Drive shafts have been made and ready for collection :) so i hope shell be running in and out the garage by the weekend :D

With the Forged internals, and the Plated Diff running a Td05 18g i hope for around 340Bhp. and simular Torques! :)

Ive thrown away the Maf, and using Uprated coils, Ditched VWs Ecu and went standalone, it should be running tonight

Custom Shafts cam today :) Ohh Ding Dong

I used a local company called Drive Link.

£95 per shaft plus Vat including new outer CVS and boots!!! BARGIN!!! :)

BLOOMIN HELL that is cheap, did you just spec golf inners, clio outers and gave them a length.

Legend, just spoke to Paul at drive link and he can do shafts for same price and a little extra to overhaul. Pennies in comparison to what some want for new intermediate bar.
