So many admirers!

I'm in love! Big time! People really need to get a drive in one of these cars!

I know but my god what a car!

Really, when you take a corner it's just unreal! You don't even move!

I personally never thought there would be this much of a dfference between a standard one.

I read autocar puts the lowest powered car, puma above the S3, CTR, Subaru P1! :)

Shame you got a bad one.

Theres only 300 left!

I feel chuffed to bits.

It's like a bit of motoring heritage in the garden.

My bro in law offered me 6k for it already!

I remember Reading a really old issue of top gear with this car reviewed. They said it was the best car to learn how to drive fast properly in, Due to the modest power / top notch stoppers and handling prowess.

Lovely motors totally unique. Get some xenons behind those projector balls to mean up the front end!

Got to agree with that, you need to very stupid to bin it in the dry, the levels of grip are ridiculous! Point and shoot never seemed so apt!

It has hids mate, they are cracking I must say!

Lovely!

PSJ.
Thanks mate, i'm over the moon with it.

Every drive is an occasion.

Gally whats special bout this thing then ? i know feck all bout fords !

It's hard to explain mate! :(

I really want to give people a shot to see what the fuss is about.

A clio would be wallowing about in the corners while chasing a well driven FRP, I have no doubt, it's just so flat and precise.

It's all about the track, suspension and brakes Dean.

I farted in it once!
You wish.

I agree anyone who likes straightline speed probably won't like it that much but if you get near a any corners they'll understand, really the reason I want people to have a drive.

I don't drive quick, there's plenty of corners where I stay tho! :)

No joke it feels like an occasion on every journey. Maybe it's just me!

Handles like a dream, not £5k more than a Ph1 on Coilies tho.

They are special right enough!

If you're a Ford fan it's so much more than just a good drive.

Hard to explain but i'm sure other Ford nuts understand.

Pep said the other day hat his Gold gti was probably better than a FRS but he still wants the FRS more.

Danny look forward to you giving it a blast. :)

Engine in partnership with Yamaha wasnt it, or least the inlet was....or am I talking b****cks

I have always wanted to take the plunge with something like this thats for sure.

People told me it would happen but I didn't believe them, it's funny. A lot of Focus RS/ST drivers and a had one pull in to the petrol station to ask about it. He had a nice Blue ST.

I like it, I don't even need to drive quick to enjoy it.

The engine basics are yamaha mate, inlets and cams ect... are all ford stuff.

A local lad had one a few years ago, always knew it was him coming as it sounded like a mark 2 escort coming along the road. I really do love the sound of the FRP's exhaust.

Now and then on a summers day I also see one with that F1 styke wing on the back, presume that was optional extra Gally was it?

It's called the F2 spoiler was, it's an extra from the s1600 rally Pumas.
They look good with some modifications to the car.

It sits too high imo for the spoiler to look right.

It also has a lip spoiler built into the tailgate so no real need.

And you're right about the sound, i'm happy to plod along at 30mph everywhere it sounds so good on over run. :)

They are one hell of a special car. Sadly has grip>grunt, it's actually quite similar to driving a fwd lotus élan in a lot of ways. Bags and bags of grip, but not much adjustability and very frustrating if caught behind a dawdled on a decent road.

In wakefield theres a house with 3 out side. One blue and two other which have been sprayed. One black and one white. His son has a fiesta with an s1600 kit on it.

  Turbos.
Flol! Do you like them? Cost me a fortu;ne!

FRP > Smart ;)

Cheers mate

Dreamer...

Nice little motors. It's good to have something a bit different.

Isn't it right that the calipers aren't dust sealed so they have to be rebuilt after every journey to the shops?
