do you know what the deal is with 205gtidrivers? i keep wanting to sign up but theyre not accepting new members?

Not sure how it works, I joined in 2007. Think you have to ask to join and then complete a few tasks before you can post otherwise your account gets deleted.

It's well worth joining, all the info you need is there. PSOOC is expensive to join you do get a members pack and magazines but still not my cuppa spunk.

May pick one up from Maplin's this afternoon as I'm visiting a couple of dealers beside it. I did win a slave solenoid on ebay for £4.05 last night so we'll see if it works!

Should get the car back tomorrow! new doors and tailgate fitted, new lockset fitted, an original fuel cap fitted, new central locking solenoids fitted, old door glass swapped over to retain etchings.

Then I need to MOT it, will try and sort that out this week too.

LOL good timing, just got it back been driving it to free the brakes up as it's been sitting.

I'm far too big for it lol it's a laugh, totally fill the drivers seat and need to have the sunroof cover open to get my head off the roof (6ft3).

Can i ask where you get bits and pieces for your 205? i'm looking for 12 wheel bolts for the same wheels as yours finding it immpossible to find them

autofive will sell you brand new ones for a small fortune, go on ebay and pm everyone breaking 205gti's and someone will offer something.
