I had this on a golf before. It was a corroded rubber flange on the fuel injection system. I'm not sure if the 1.6 runs a similar system but that was an easy fix.
As an additive to clean the system they work well. Certainly won't hurt the car and will be good as part of an ongoing maintenance programme.
I wouldn't bother with the octane boosters, just buy higher octane fuel if you don't already. Money well spent.
I'm gonna have to pull out Dan, been invited to my mates birthday and it's gonna be real messy! I won't be in any state to drive. If a miracle happens I might swing by though.
Mine is falling apart around the grips, I've seen a few refurbs on here by Snappy and they all look great. How much does that work cost and how do I contact Snappy?
These look great, what colour would you suggest and how much Mforan2012? I'm not to far away from you.

Get all 4 changed for something decent like Pirelli's or Continentals and then you will have no concerns at all. Not cheap, but they will stop you disappearing into a field or somebody's brick wall!
Pzero....Ninja tyre?? Just dark mate. This was always going to be an experiment that I would learn from. Just glad it's not a complete eye-sore!
I think a change of position if and when |I need or want to replace them.
I'm a bit of a techno geek and would like this. It's not as good looking as my Rotary but it's got a lot of functions I like. I remember when people started moaning that phones stopped being phones and more of a gadget. I guess it's time for the watch top get that same treatment.
