I had your problem, mine were really high up! Just pop it in to a garage and they will lower them for you! No one is flashing me any more ;)

That's very kind of you... But purchased the comp rear mount and bit the £39.99 bullet in the hope it should fix the problem once and for all. Have been told it should pretty much sort out the centre mount as well. Will be arriving tomorrow, so will give you all an update!

Hello all I have been searching through the various exhaust threads, and I was wondering whether anybody has come up with a solution to the (what only can be described as) poor quality rear and centre mounts that end up drooping, consquently my centre pipe is knocking against the rear subframe...

Be interested to see how much you get for this. I have pretty much the same spec, mileage ect but in black.

I have had them on the front of my 172 since just before xmas - and I am just replacing the rears with Pzeros as well. Managed to get the fronts down to about 3 mil in about 6 months (8k ish miles) so they are fairly good wearing. Have stuck the old fronts on the rear and they will last me...

Just bought some more Pirelli P Zero Nero tyres, worth the money. 195/45/16 80V XL - so has a good stiff side wall. Relatively low road noise as well.

Just ordered this - http://www.k-tecracing.com/show_product.asp?id=2717&appid=2 I am hoping it will raise it enough and hold it fairly tight so it won't lower and knock on the rear beam!

It's only knocking on the rear beam, so won't do any damage as such - but is just fuc***g annoyiong! I have had so much trouble trying to stop mine knocking! And it has just started knocking again now!

Was my back box/centre pipe hitting the rear axle. Got a new centre pipe and back box fitted correctly and all was sorted

This sounds like what was happening to mine. Under hard acceleration my back box was hitting the real axel hence the banging noise. Got a new centre pipe which moved the back box away from the rear axel. Problem fixed.

Who uses what in a Clio 172 mk2. Been using Tesco's 99 momentum since I bought the car a couple of months ago. But noticing whether anybody else has noticed any difference in power or mpg?

Strangely when I go to put the back windscreen wash on it does the front windscreen!!
