why not just take the tweeter out of its housing mount your own in there but check the continuity of the wires and find out were the wires are below the dash and before the door and join your crossover wires into those?
yeah but is an old thread form nearly 3 yrs ago....
iam 26 atm had mine for a year!! and dont worry mate i keep gettin told by my mates from my previous car club " you need to change your occupation and become a hairdresser" again i suspect they are jealous as their escorts are crumbling :)
would be interested to know the out come of this as this is happening with my pioneer to..........also does your bit were it used to say the radio stations light up of its own accord as mine does intermitantly stay on :S
why the heck are you chopping wires and linking to see if theres a "break" all u need is a pin diagram of ecu ( wich you would need any way ) to tell u what pin corresponds to the wires at the plug and just test the wires with a multi meter for continuity surly would be far easier and quicker? :S
Hi i have been offered a couple of half decent wheels as a replacement for mine as mine has bad bad melting on it....but these dont have the cruise control buttons on them can i fit the ones from mine? or do i need one with them in?
cheers
arron
ok so get several details of 172's on the same year and then go and ask the question ..tbh it would be better to put it in the hands of some one at the local dvla office.. as they would know where to start as tbh we wouldnt unless we have had this issue in the past...and tbh i bet no one normaly...
Not sure if i like the wheels or not tbh ..:S but tbh i cant say any thing as i have wheels people dont like ..one thing i would say though is take the rear spring adjusters out and just have the springs in would make it sit much lower and more level :)
old saying " a bad workman always blames his tools!"
