clio 1.4 8v alize, 1999 cars been misfiring around (and only around) 2000rpm when accelerating, checked the plugs, looked fine, cleaned em up anyway, leads seem okay, still misfiring, anything else i can check myself before i condemn it to a garage? thanks in advance for any ideas/advice :)

basically what it says in the title. when im sat still with the engine on i can feel the whole car juddering and theres a tapping noise from the engine im not sure this is related but either way any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance
