My car is at s garage with a broken coil spring. Car is 172 Cup. The springs on the car measure about 360mm and the new parts measure more like 300mm So which are wrong?

I have a dilemma. Saturday got new tyres......had broken coil spring. Parts have been ordered and the new springs are 60mm shorter than the springs on the car. Car is 52 plate Clio 172 Cup. Which are wrong?

Hi all, Right my 172 Cup has developed a new noise lol I can't put my finger on it. I have searched the forums to no avail. So here goes my attempt to explain it. When i drive the car i get a kind of metallic noise which quickens the faster i go......which would say to me its either wheel...
