I have the same car with what sounds like it might be the same problem.
After any sort of steering input the wheel will default back to about 10 degrees right causing the car to drift that way.
There’s also less centring force on the wheel and the car feels more ‘vague’ when turning right than...
Think its normal for O2.
Never received a confirmation email when I ordered a phone from them about a month ago. Phone arrived 2 days later as expected.
Don't think theres any need to worry.
The car is meant to lock itself.
If the doors are unlocked but not opened it automatically locks again (i think its about a minute after pressing the button). Its a security feature so you don't accidently unlock the car and leave it open.
Outside JJB at about 3:30 this afternoon. Liquid yellow 182 with cliosport.net sticker in the rear window. Not seen you around before. Love the car.
left your passenger window open slightly in the rain though :rasp:
yeh, was behind you from the sharp bend on the top of the hill out of the village (woolscot). Trying to catch up, thought i was reeling you in on the corners, right behind you turning onto the A45, as soon as you hit the dual carriage way you were gone.
Saw you probably a few months back now...
Not certain it was you but rumor is you work around grandborough on the weekends.
Leaving the village about 2:30 today. On to the A45 through Dunchurch and on past Sainsburys.
Clio was black, smoke from the exhaust suggested diesel and a nurburgring (sp?) sticker on the back?
For Windows Vista
In Windows: Control panel - sound - recording - right click in the white area - select 'show disabled devices' - right click on 'Waveout mix' or 'stereo mix' - select 'enable'
In Audacity: Go into Edit - Preferences, then on the first tab where it says Playback and...
Yes, so long as your pc isn't a dell, they did something stupid with their sound drivers, even then you can still get around it, are you using windows? and is it XP or vista if you are?
2004 Mk2 Ph2 dynamique, speakers in mine are Blaupunkt as standard. Replaced the rears with JBL speakers as people said clio speakers aren't all they could be, the difference is minimal imo.
People complain but i've acctually been really happy with the standard Blaupunkt components in the...
Yeh i did knock one of the sides. Its been to two garages now, one of them reckons the axel is bent, the other says theres no way its bent and its something to do with some sort of bracket on the rear wheel being knocked out of place :S
The one offering to replace the axle wants silly money...
Having got a second opinion i'm not convinced the axle is bent. Does anybody happen to know the symptoms that would arise from a bent rear axel? i've read about vibrations whilst driving but i get none of them.
Garage says i've bent my rear axle putting it 9mm out on tracking. What the best way for me to fix this?
Is it possible to straighten a bent axle? is a new axle expensive or hard to source (could i get one from a scrappy)? is fitting a new axle a technically difficult job?
Garage wanted 400...
Unfortunately your right. Rear axle is bent 9mm, i'm really gutted. I can't afford to sort the problem anymore. Whats the cheapest way for me to source a rear axle (scrappy?) and how involved is it to fit one. My garage wants 400 quid to find and fit, i can source my own atm for 125 quid (i...
thats just the thing, i didn't hit it hard at all, i was really suprised at the amount of damage when i got out of the car. i can't afford to get the scratches sorted, let alone bent axels :(
Cheapest body shop quote to get this sorted was £400 - £450. They need the car for 4 days aswell :dapprove: . Still got no idea whats happened to the steering, going for a 4 wheel tracking check on monday.
Sorry, the pictures are awful, if you need something better i can give it a go in the morning, at the moment the dent is really hard to show.
Nope, it doesn't pull at all, its perfectly happy to go in a straight line, but when it does the steering wheel is where it should be when taking a...
:dapprove:
Earlier this evening had a bit of an incident reversing into a low bollard below the height of the mirrors, stupid mistake but whats done is done.
The damage is a deep scratch along the left side 3/4 panel, with a nice big dent underneath it. The rear bumper is also badly scuffed...

Thats a reasonable guide, once you look around inside at where the clips are and so on its not difficult to do. Don't be too violent with it and be patient, it will bend but only so far. Putting the new grill on is just a...
dwright_fender - I'd say go for it.
It adds a lot to the front of the car imo and its still easily distinguishable to most as not being a sport since its not colour coded, doesn't have flared arches and all the rest. It just adds a little bit of a sporting look to what is, as i understand it...
