engine developed a little rattle so we decided to strip it down and find the fault. first we took of the rocker cover etc to see if the lifters where ok. first thought was that if i had to take the rooker cover off i would fit some cams. found that the lifters where fine so next choice...

got the engine in bits getting the head gas flowed and iam going to get some cams as well so iam thinking of ditching the air con. is it worth it?? is it really just about the weight??

had a rattle on the engine so i had the car towed home taken the rocker cover off checked the cams and followers etc so we took the head off valves look fine started to move the pistons found that on no 4 there is some play that knocks think this was the noise?? any ideas?? whats the best...

how do you tighten the hand brake on a 2002 172? is it under the exhaust heat sheild or in the car? any ideas please

iam thinking of selling my 172 steering wheel its in good condtion but dont know how much to ask for it. its off my 2002 sport the rubbers are not ripped etc
