As title says, im thinking of turning the clio ive just bought in to a road legal track car, any tips and experiances would be greatful.
i will be collecting the car this week, its a mk1 phase 2 valver in dark blue.
Mods ive already got sitting in the garage from past clio and other cars are...
TYhere is a bloke on here called terry, dont know his board name, he swapped me a dodgy clio for my old 200sx. he also lied on sxoc when selling the 200, making in out to have stuff it didnt have, and then turned the lie on to me by saying i told him it had the variouse items.

i own a clio 1.8 16v
The person who owned my car before me put the bigger breather from the rocker cover and routed it to a 1litre oil canister below the battery as a catch tank
after 1 day of an oil swap this was about 250ml full, surly that much oil shouldnt be coming through the breathers...
my car idles irracally, it sometimes idles at 1500rpm, then at 1100rpm, am i right in saying it should idle at about 800rpm
Also when you accelerate hard,and then put the clutch down the revs stick at about 3300rpm.
It has kent cams in it, could the problem be the idle control valve, or...
i found out my valver has kent cams and vernia pullys, do they make much difference,
also has anyone had there valver rolling roaded with cams, pullys, de-cat and exhaust, k+n.
What sort of power can i expect
My car idles at 1500rpm, is this because of the cams or is it my idle control...
What is a good cheap brake upgrade for a valver, does calipers and discs fit from any other renults for example a williams or a 182.
