I have the opportunity to get some recaro megane r26 subframes for cheapy cheap, so I was wondering if they'd fit into a clio without modification?

I'd go anthracite. Silver always seems to stay cleaner longer. Plus they look better IMHO :)

Got to be a set of Recaro CS! Stunning seats. Almost factory look (unless you get them in fluo green), and you can get them with/without airbags!

^^^ this!! If you're going to wrap, do it tastefully. If you want carbon, then get CARBON!!

Have you tried amping them separately? You'll get a massive increase in both quality and volume! If you're worried about wires and amps everywhere, just get a small one (the vibe nano's aren't bad for the money) and sling one under a seat, job done :)

Just a quick note- has anyone else ever seen a Clio Ecotec? ...must've been a VERY limited run...

Fairly sure the dash comes off pretty easy on these. I took one off a megane, and it was only held in by 3 or 4 T25 torx screws. Easy! ...the hard part was putting it back on properly :)

Save your money and get some good components, mate. To be honest, the speaker placement in the rear is awful for passengers, aswell as doing nothing for you. :)

Would the wider track make a massive difference if i was to coilover it anyway, or would i be better going for the wider one? Or just spacing the wheels? There's a chance I'll be doing some track days (only a few to begin with...)

So apart from losing the air con on most cups, what's the difference? Sorry for all these proper newbie questions, but I am, i suppose :/
