Forgot to add i'll be doing it myself, so that obviously saves a nice sum of cash. Just wondered if anyone else has bought these parts in the past? I'd be using the 5th gear from my current box. I've also read that these boxes are very sensitive to the oil they use?

This is to anyone who's rebuilt a jc5. My syncros are grinding occasionally in 3rd and 4th, and I'm just trying to weigh up the difference in costs between a used box, or rebuilding the spare box I have with a damaged 5 gear, with new bearings and sychros. Used boxes seem to vary so much in...

I've got the opportunity to have the above stereo for my ph1. Only problem I can see is, the 182 has navigation, factory fit with the colour screen, and the radio shows up on it. Hoping it will fit!

I'll say it before anyone else - don't bother trying to make it go faster. Save your money. Nice wheels, maybe some budget coil overs and keep it nice and clean. Save all other money for a Sport.

Why do you want to change? The only way to know is to get out and drive one. It's different strokes for different folks.

About the difference of leaving the house with or without one in the chamber. Do it, look so much better.

Wheels are quite frankly w**k-tastic. Excellent work.

Just beware that in the summer, with the heat the Velcro glue melts, and the plates slide off! I used it, with the same thought as you. Bad idea!

Re: 172 Recently Purchased - Humming noise from behind the two front central air vent If its affected by turning the radio on/off, it sounds like an electrical fault, possibly bad earth/loose connection/duff new alternator. Only happened since the alternator was fitted?

Was tempted by the Suzuki Sport ones, very expensive though! I had Spax springs, quite crashy! But loved that car.
